How to download all images and files from a web page at once
Open the page, open FileSnatch, and click Download all. Every picture, video, sound and document the page shows is saved at once, or packed into one ZIP.
The problem
Saving a gallery or a page full of attachments one file at a time takes forever. Right-click saving gives you thumbnails instead of full-size pictures, random file names like a8f3c1e9.jpg, and a folder full of logos, icons and ads you didn't want.
How FileSnatch helps
- FileSnatch lists everything on the page by kind: videos, images, audio and files, with how many and how big in total.
- It leaves out ads, icons, logos and duplicate copies, and picks the largest version of each picture.
- Download all saves everything at once; ZIP packs it into one file (with a password if you like); 1 PDF joins PDFs or pictures into a single document.
- Files are named after their post or page, and can be numbered 001, 002… so they stay in order.
Step by step
- Open the page
A gallery, an article, a product page or a page of attachments. Scroll down so everything loads.
- Open FileSnatch
Each tab (Videos, Images, Audio, Files) shows what the page has and the total size.
- Pick, or take everything
Leave nothing selected to take everything, or tick just the ones you want. Search and sort help on long pages.
- Download all
Click Download all, ZIP, or 1 PDF.
Good to know
- Settings → Number files keeps them in the page's order.
- Settings → Pictures saves WebP pictures as JPG or PNG.
- The files are spread over many pages? Look inside collects them from every linked page.
- Several tabs open? Every tab at once adds them all to one list.
Free saves one file at a time. Pro downloads everything at once, as a ZIP or one PDF too.
