How to download all PDFs from a website, including every linked page
Open the page that lists the documents, open FileSnatch and click Look inside. It opens every linked page in the background, collects their files, and lets you download them all at once.
The problem
Course pages, archives and report lists rarely put the files on one page. Each PDF or MP3 sits on its own page, so getting them means opening hundreds of pages one by one. Generic "download all" tools only see the first page.
How FileSnatch helps
- Look inside opens every page a list links to, a few at a time, and collects the PDFs, MP3s, videos and photos on them.
- It follows "Next" pages of the list too, and names each file after its page, not "download.pdf".
- Only pages about…: type a word (worksheet, audio, 2024) to collect just those files, even when they're one page further in.
- It keeps going while you use other tabs, remembers where it stopped, and Look again shows what's new later.
Step by step
- Open the list page
The page that links to the lessons, reports or episodes.
- Open FileSnatch
The Look inside card shows how many pages the list links to.
- Narrow it down (optional)
Type a word in Only pages about… to get only those files.
- Click Look inside
Choose 25, 50, 100 pages or all. Files appear in the panel as they're found.
- Download them all
Download all, ZIP, or 1 PDF to join every PDF into one document, in order.
Good to know
- Turn on Number files to keep them in the list's order.
- Sites you log in to work too: FileSnatch uses your browser's login.
- Stop at any time; Continue picks up later, even days later.
Free looks inside the first 3 pages. Pro looks inside every page, with Only pages about… and Look again.

Will it slow the website down?
No. It opens a few pages at a time and slows down by itself if the site asks.
Can I get only some files?
Yes, with Only pages about…, or by picking files before downloading.
