How to download all materials from an online course
Open the course's list of lessons, open FileSnatch and click Look inside. It opens every lesson page and collects its files; turn on Number files and they arrive in order, ready to download all at once or join into one PDF.
The problem
Courses spread their material across dozens of lesson pages: a PDF here, an audio file there, a worksheet one click further in. Downloading it all means opening every lesson, clicking every file, and renaming everything to keep the order.
How FileSnatch helps
- Look inside opens every lesson the course page links to and collects its PDFs, MP3s and videos.
- Only pages about…: type worksheet, audio or answers to collect just those, even one page further in.
- Files are named after their lesson, and Number files keeps the course order (001, 002…).
- 1 PDF joins all the PDFs into one book; ZIP packs everything into one file.
- It uses your login, so courses you're enrolled in work too.
Step by step
- Open the course outline
The page that lists every lesson.
- Turn on Number files
FileSnatch → Settings → Number files.
- Look inside
On This page, click Look inside (type a word first to collect only certain files).
- Download
Files tab → Download all, ZIP, or 1 PDF.
Good to know
- Stop and Continue later: FileSnatch remembers where it stopped.
- New lessons added later? Look again shows only what's new.
- Course videos stream? They're saved as normal MP4s.
Free looks inside the first 3 pages and saves one file at a time. Pro does the whole course at once.

Will it miss lessons split over several list pages?
No, Look inside follows the list's Next pages too.
